The deception started months in advance when Cameron told me he had won a skydiving package in a raffle. I'm terrified of heights and skydiving is something I said I would never do. When I finally, reluctantly, jumped with him, he had arranged for the proposal to be spelled out on the ground in giant white letters. I saw the message from the air and started laughing and crying, being so overwhelmed from the experience. He landed ahead of me and proposed when I landed.
